Eric's Financial Services Journey “officially began” in 1991, even though he grew up hearing the stories of his dad helping his clients over his 46 year career with New York Life. He got Eric interested in investing early on as Eric's first trade was in the 8th grade and his first stock he owned was “Ranger Oil” out of TX.
Eric admires his parents' work ethic, kindness, compassion and love, as he owes them a gratitude and strives to deliver such experiences to his clients and loved ones. Thank you!
Over the years, Eric has worked with well-known financial/insurance firms (including New York Life, T.Rowe Price, Century Business Services [CBIZ], & Financial Engines). Eric founded True North Wealth Partners in November 2018 as a boutique holistic financial planning firm aimed at bringing an abundance of current financial advice garnered from a team of professionals and analysts to help design “client focused” meetings/portfolios.
Working with partner, Andy Smith, Eric brings a total “team approach” when helping his clients throughout their journey in life.
A graduate of The Ohio State University, with a bachelor's degree and a concentration in Family Resource Management/Financial Management, Eric currently maintains his Series 63 and 65 licenses. In addition, he has earned the Chartered Mutual Fund Administrator (CMFC®) and the Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designations.
A resident of Dublin, Ohio with his wife Jessica and two children, Ella and Sofia. Eric is member of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce, Knights of Columbus, St. Brigid of Kildare and The Club at Tartan Fields.
He enjoys spending free time with family and friends as well as cookouts, golfing, landscaping and auto racing.
